I was impressed with their communication skills ensuring the quote was clear, I was well informed on scheduling and all my questions were answered. There were no surprises. It's only May 12th and my new driveway is complete! The communication from this company is incredible. From quote to finish, I was in contact with this business through every step of the process. Emails with detailed instructions as well as contact about scheduling and next steps. While I know their schedule was jam packed they indicated that they might get to me early and they did a whole 75 days before I thought they would. Support your local business who is doing fantastic work. Our new driveway looks incredible.

From start to finish, they were a great group to work with. Not only are they professional, but they are good people. If integrity, honesty, and quality are important to you, you won't be disappointed here. When paving day came, the paving machine had a breakdown about half way into the job. Now I'm no paving expert, but I'm sure there are different ways to "seam" it if they chose to come back another time to finish it. Instead, they without hesitation tore up the part they had already done to start over on another day. The owner told me it was the best way to "do it right". - I don't know, they could have told me anything but they wanted their work to be right! And MAN! If you want to see guys work hard and as a team, hang around and watch! Without speaking much, they are all constantly moving and anticipating what the 'next' thing that needs to be done and just goes to do it without being told. I spoke to a few of the guys working, and they all like working for the owners, and stated the owners cared about how it's done which is why they stay working at Blacktop Concepts. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them!

When I requested a bid, I got a response in one day with a quote. They were open and honest about the timing and the process to remove the old driveway and install the new one. When the crew was here they worked hard and were diligent to do a good job and took time to clean up around the area. I would recommend this company to friends and family.

The crew assisting were extremely efficient each knowing their specific tasks. The final step of laying the asphalt took a little more than an hour. After most of the crew left two of the owners stayed back for the final rolling and made sure everything was perfect. Thanks for the great job. You deserve a 5 star rating.

There is something comforting dealing with a family owned business. Blacktop Concepts, Dan Spadino and family, provided me confidence for replacing our 30 year-old driveway. I was concerned with the poor drainage issues with the existing driveway due to limited slope from the garage to the street and severe pooling that developed, particularly during the spring snow melt. They assured me that could be addressed. After removing the old driveway, it was discovered the concrete block footings under the front of the garage slab were deteriorating. We discussed the options and determined it was best to provide poured concrete filling and extend a concrete apron. Blacktop Concepts referred me to Lasting Impressions Concrete to address that need prior to finishing the base preparation and doing the final paving. The final product looks great and while I’ll need to wait until the spring snow melt to see what happens, I’m confident the driveway will properly drain.

Both crews that did the prep work and the final paving were diligent to pay attention to details. It was obvious they were committed to producing a great product to meet/exceed my needs and positively reflected on their company. I was also grateful for the extra work, not specific to the driveway, by Joe Spadino, that greatly enhanced our landscaping and laying sod plans. I realize that isn’t the work they are focused doing but, in terms of being customer focused, they listened, answered a need and exceeded my expectations. Blacktop Concepts proved to be very personable and professional. I highly recommend the company.
